すみだタワー
地上デジタル用のテレビ塔、第２の「東京タワー」が、墨田に決まった。
世界一のタワーになる。仮名称が、「すみだタワー」。
「SUMIDA」と言われても、外国人は誰も知らないよね。
でも、そこは企画勝負。今後の高齢化社会、団塊の世代が、
墨田、浅草らへんをたずねに来る可能性はあると思う。
歌舞伎や能、温泉などの、シニア向けエンターテイメントを、
うまく集めたら、面白い地域になると思う。

きっと色んな企業や団体が取り組むと思うけど誰もが楽しめて文化的な街になってくれればと思うよ。

たぶん、自分が老人になったら、
そういうところうれしいと思うんだよね。
ディズニーランドみたいな若者的なものより、
日本文化的な空間。それで、
意外と若い人も来たりすると思うしね。
